“Feeble Familial Fable”

Passage

Of time

Of family

And of our own lives

It all just fades away

Nothing

Remains

Nothing

Is the same

Complexities will be forgotten

When you’re no longer here

To suffer your way through them

A handout given

But that hand has since been rescinded

For its attachment point no longer exists

Paused for a moment

Then it was over

Resolutions were never achieved

Disappointments accepted

Then quickly forgotten

For there is no one left to remember…
